Youth Online Safety

Surfing the internet has become a part of our lives. A world of new possibilities opens up in front of our eyes. In order to enjoy it with safety and without taking risks, we organized for the 2nd year with Microsoft Hellas the campaign “Υοuth Online Safety”.

The discussion was moderated by Ilias Papacharalampous and Androniki Colobou, but the highschool students from all over Greece played the lead role. In an interactive way we discussed about the problems that you or your friends may be facing, while the latest online developments were presented.
We had the pleasure to have with us children from the Anavryta Experimental Gymnasium, the 9th Highschool of Piraeus, Agia Paraskevi Senior High school for the Deaf, the Saint Lawrence College, the 4th Dafni Highschool, the Avgouleas – Linardatos School and the 3rd Zografou Senior High school.
At the same time, students from the Kampani Senior High school in Kilkis,  ΕΠΑΛ and the Senior High school of Larissa, were able to participate live and express their opinion utilizing Microsof technology.
The event was transmitted through live streaming; we talked with children all over Greece and exchanged our points of view using live chat.
